How the presale ladder works for K-pop and pop tours in Singapore and Hong Kong, with the real windows from the Stray Kids and The Weeknd 2026 sales, what each tier requires, and what to do once every window has closed.

The ladder: four windows, in order
Big tours in Singapore and Hong Kong sell in the same sequence. Each window opens to a smaller group than the next, and the best allocations go first.
- Fan club presale. Requires paid membership in the artist's official fan club and, increasingly, a registration step days earlier. For Stray Kids Singapore, STAY 6TH GENERATION members registered in the FANS app from 25 to 27 August 2026 and bought on 31 August.
- Live Nation member presale. A free Live Nation account in that country is enough. Live Nation Singapore states plainly: "You do not need a code or password to access the My Live Nation pre-sale", and ticket links appear on its site when the presale starts. Stray Kids Singapore: 1 September 2026, 10 AM to 11:59 PM SGT.
- Card or brand partner presale. Tied to a bank card or partner. The Weeknd Hong Kong had a Visa and ZA Bank presale from 5 June 12 PM to 6 June 12 PM HKT.
- General sale. Everyone, first come first served, usually the morning after the last presale. Stray Kids Singapore: 2 September 2026, 10 AM SGT on Ticketmaster Singapore. The Weeknd Hong Kong: 5 June 2026, 12 PM HKT.

Live Nation also sends a reminder email the day before each presale you signed up for. Join the waiting room about 15 minutes before the window opens; arriving at the exact minute puts you behind everyone who joined earlier.
Time zones: the number one mistake for travelling fans
Windows are published in local time: SGT (UTC+8) for Singapore and HKT (UTC+8) for Hong Kong. A "10 AM" presale is 2 AM in London and 9 PM the previous evening in New York. When every window has closed
Three things are still true after general sale. First, promoters sometimes release production holds close to the show, so keep the official page bookmarked. Second, the resale market prices each date and section separately: the Saturday of a two-night run clears higher, and the closing night of a four-night run does too. Third, VIP benefits that involve a soundcheck or meet-and-greet are usually tied to the original buyer and rarely transfer. Compare the total with fees, insist on the exact date and section, and prefer transfers through the official app.
